What Is Secret™ RF Microneedling?

Secret™ RF Microneedling works by rebuilding and revitalizing the skin. Using controlled RF energy in combination with the microneedles, Secret™ delivers heat into deep skin layers to firm up tissue, remodel collagen, improve mild wrinkles, and diminish scars.

Given its deep penetration, the device is an excellent choice for addressing facial and neck wrinkles, stretch marks, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation. It is a significant advance over fractional lasers. They have to burn a hole in the skin to deliver energy to the deep layers. This is much more traumatic to the outer layers of the skin than the entry of a fine needle, resulting in increased discomfort and longer downtime.

How Does This Treatment Work?

During treatment, tiny microneedles are applied along the skin’s surface. These deliver radiofrequency energy precisely to different levels of the skin. Unlike other devices that only deposit energy in the upper layer of the skin, Secret™ RF delivers radiofrequency energy deep down where it’s needed most to help revitalize and regenerate the skin’s collagen and elastin fibers. This unique approach achieves optimal results with minimal downtime (typically 4 hours) on all skin types.

Results and Benefits of Secret™ RF Microneedling

We give a minimum of 3 treatments initially to achieve the best results. Each treatment in a course will be spaced out over about a month. This allows the skin to heal and grow more collagen and elastin before the next microneedling. Your results should last a year or more – but everyone is unique in how they will respond to treatment, and you can schedule a single “refresher” treatment when you notice the need.

Some side effects of this treatment, such as redness, minor swelling, bruising, and needle marks, may be experienced. You can apply most makeup the next day.
